Pregnant and super used to all your maternity clothes now? Questioning what in the world you are going to where after the belly is gone?
Especially in those early days as you start the healing process.
If you’re anything like me then you are also wondering what you should wear to make breastfeeding as easy as possible.
I am such a practical dresser that I don’t put on things that are uncomfortable just for the sake of fashion. When I started shopping for nursing-friendly clothes I wanted anything I was wearing to be as convenient as possible but I also wanted to look put together.
In this list I have compiled some of my favorite clothes I have used during postpartum to help you find exactly what you’re looking for:

Tank Tops
I got 2 different kinds and I like both of them and use both sets to this day.
These built-in-bra camisoles are more supportive but I did take the bra liner out of it because every time I went to feed the baby it folded up inside and it was a struggle to get it straightened out.

Due to how supportive they are I also wear these at night in lieu of a bra to hold the breast pads but it has to be under my pajama top or I got too cold.
I do prefer these for daytime use as they are more fitted and it helps me to feel more comfortable with my stomach as I get back into my pre-pregnancy clothes.
The second set of camis are more flexible, less fitted, and I wear them most nights. My biggest complaint is that certain sleeping positions and rolling over can void the support and I end up uncovered. Still, I choose them over most bras as they are more comfortable.

I also use them as a daytime undershirt because they are comfortable while still providing easy access.
Momcozy Bra
This sports bra is great as it is very supportive and there is no inner bra lining that bunches every time I feed my baby or wash the bra. I wore it pretty much every single day with my first.

It served me well for the first year and I preferred it over the other options out there.
Nighttime Bras
I had a different set that I used during both of my births while in the tub and at night during my first postpartum. However they came up too high under my arms and I was constantly adjusting them.
I got this new set of nighttime nursing bras and I love it a million times more. I can wear them all night while I sleep and nurse and not even feel like I’m wearing a bra–at least compared to the previous ones.

Long Sleeve Nursing-Friendly Shirts
Having a baby in the middle of winter had me looking for ways to stay warm while nursing. These long sleeve shirts have been my go-to since day 1.

They are comfortable, simple enough to lounge around in, and nice enough to pull together a simple outfit.
I also use these at night sometimes but not as often since I got more nursing-friendly pajamas.
Short Sleeve Nursing-Friendly Shirts
Obviously the long sleeve shirts aren’t very comfortable in the summer so I also stocked up on some short sleeve shirts. I did not love all of them and I don’t feel comfortable recommending them so I just included the set I love and use the most.
These shirts are convenient, comfy, and I could wear them on a lazy day or dress up with a nice sweater. I love the versatility of a simple shirt and I love the convenience and style of the nursing access panel with a flap that you pull up on.
If you try any of these, please let me know how you like them!
